The Ladies of Mainframe, Version 1.0

This is my second KiSS doll, the first being the Hex KiSS doll. I learned a lot while doing the Hex KiSS doll, not least of which is that hand tracing, scanning, and resizing all the elements is for the birds. On this doll I learned that it IS possible to make all of a doll's clothes using a Wacom tablet (or, when I didn't have access to that, a mouse). It's wonderful hand-eye coordination practice.

This doll took about 2.5 months to make, and considering her freakin' huge wardrobe (the little .BAT has more clothes than *I* do!), just about every element of which is separately created, I'd say that's not too bad. I had to stick in a few nifty special effects and easter eggs while I was at it. Mess around with it and see what you find.

I tried to get if not all most of the clothes that the heroines (and villaines?) of ReBoot wore in "real life." I didn't make the clothes they wore in games. Maybe I'll do another set on that theme. This set is cluttered enough as it is! "No room, no room!"

Fun facts: This set has 662 cels, 201 of which are wigs. I am sick of making wigs.

Watch out for the nulls. The little buggers are everywhere.

Many thanks to those who have beta tested this doll, and those who have suggested useful costumes. I may make other sets based on this doll - for example, a set with game costumes. If you have a costume idea, feed free to suggest it - but be warned that any request that I include a fuku will be answered by a WONK from the Clue Hammer. I mean it. Haiku is watching you.

Dot, Mouse, Hexadecimal, AndrAIa, Daemon, and Dixon Green are copyright Mainframe Entertainment, and used without permission but with a heck of a lot of love and respect. Haiku and Melissa are copyright Slack, aka Kim McFarland, AKA me. And, of course, I'm copyrght myself.

This KiSS set is copyright Kim McFarland. It is not to be altered and/or rearchived on the internet (websites or otherwise) without the permission of the creator. This doll must *never* be charged for or put on pay sites, unless Mainframe gets a cut.
